If you care about democracy, get on the phone with your congressional representative and US senators right away! Tell them to disqualify the electoral votes from Florida, Texas, and Virginia.
Call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121.
The electoral votes from Texas are all illegal. They were cast for two Texas residents (George DWI Bush of Austin and Dick Cheney of Dallas) in violation of the US Constitution. All those votes should be thrown out (not just half of Bush's and half of Cheney's, although half a loaf is better than none).
The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves.
The votes from Florida include those of pseudo-electors who lost the election. Fewer votes were cast for them than for their adversaries in the Democratic party. Preliminary counts omitted thousands of visually clear ballots.
Many of these uncounted ballots were cast by elderly people suffering from degenerative conditions characteristic of old age, such as poor vision and arthritis. They had trouble reading the ballots, placing them in the machines, and punching holes in them. Nevertheless, thousands of these ballots were marked unambiguously, yet ignored by callous or corrupt officials. To disenfranchise these folks because of old age violates the US Constitution.
Section. 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.
Failure to count, tabulate, and report any votes by qualified citizens is a violation of federal law.
Likewise, it was a violation of the same law for the Repuglicans and the mob they flew to Florida to threaten election officials so they would not count, tabulate, and report votes.
